Job description
Project Lead (Commercial Project)
Ready and excited to take on a challenge at an international scale-up? Passionate about contributing to innovative products and making a real sustainable impact? If so, you might be the next Project Lead we are looking for!
What do you do?
As a Project Lead, you are fully responsible for our exciting and challenging commercial project. This project involves the installation of multiple monopiles using our Vibrojet® technology in the North Sea across various soil conditions.
Together with a dedicated team, you organize the project work, ensure deadlines are met, conduct reviews, and manage the budget. You coordinate preparations with subcontractors and suppliers, define the installation strategy, and estimate costs. You ensure that QHSE regulations are integrated and followed, integrate lessons learned from previous projects, and mitigate risks. You work closely with the client and report to them monthly.
Why choose GBM Works?
Suppose you work as an intern for an offshore contractor that builds offshore wind farms and discover that their ships and installation methods are far from sustainable. Marine life suffers from humanity’s efforts to replace fossil energy with renewable sources, but the infrastructure and installation methods are light years behind. As a young engineer, you then design your own solution.
Five years ago, we founded GBM Works and developed a disruptive and innovative method to silently install foundations. Now, we are advancing our Vibrojet® tool for the next generation of XXL monopiles used in offshore wind energy. Our patented method addresses major challenges in the offshore wind industry, including harmful noise to marine life, potential delays, fatigue damage to piles, and scaling issues associated with current 'piling' methods.
