SIMPLER Project lead

  • Hybrid
    • Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands

Job description

Do you enjoy working at an international scale-up and are you looking for challenging work? Is it important for you to contribute to innovative products and do you thrive to make sustainable impact? If the answer is yes, you might have what it takes to be the next Project Lead in our team!

What do you do?
As a project lead you are fully responsible for our exciting and challenging commercial project which has already been started. This project includes the installation of three monopiles using our Vibrojet® technology at the North Sea.
Together with a dedicated team, you organize the project work, ensure deadlines, perform reviews and takes care of the budget. You perform preparations with sub-contractors and suppliers, define the installation strategy and cost estimate. You ensure QHSE rules are integrated and followed, record lessons learned from previous projects & mitigate risks. You work closely together with the client and report them on a monthly base.

Why choose GBM Works?
Suppose you work during an internship for an offshore contractor who builds offshore wind farms and learn that their ships and their installation methods are anything but sustainable. Marine life suffers from man's drive to replace fossil energy sources with sustainable ones, but the installation of infrastructure is light years behind. Then, as a young engineer, you design your own method.
5 years ago we started GBM Works. We developed a disruptive and innovative method to silently install foundations. Now, we are developing the tool, our Vibrojet®, for the next generation XXL monopiles used for wind energy offshore. Our patented method will solve major challenges in the offshore wind industry that are associated with the current method of ‘piling’ such as harmful noise to marine life, potential delays, fatigue damage in the pile, and scaling issues.

Workplace?
Our flexible office is situated in Amsterdam Noord in the Energy Transition Campus (ETCA). The ETCA offers a lot of facilities such as a sport accommodation, a restaurant and an excellent coffee bar.
What do we offer?
• A great place to work at ETCA Amsterdam
• Working together with the best team on a sustainable future
• Hybrid working
• An experience-based salary
• NS Business Card
• 25 paid holiday days
• Personal development plan with a steep learning curve
